A world-leading library and centre of digital excellence, the State Library of New South Wales informs, educates, inspires and surprises online, onsite and on tour. The Library’s rich heritage collections, contemporary print and digital materials, partnership with the public library network and vibrant collaborations enable Australians to interrogate our past and imagine our future.
The library provides access to many different eresources. Although you don't need your library card to access eResources whilst you are in the library building, it is essential for accessing them when you are at home.
If you are a New South Wales resident and would like to access eresources from home, you will need to become a library member. Register online to have your membership information posted to you or visit the library and collect your library card in person.
